Tool Inserts
So you never run out of options
The modularity characteristic of Zünd tooling guarantees that you can combine, add, or upgrade tool options as needed.
All tools below can be inserted in this toolhead.
| Electric Oscillating Tool (EOT3) |
Motor-driven oscillating/reciprocating tool ideal for cutting softer and/or porous, multilayered materials (e.g. foam core, fabric/textiles, corrugated board). The “sawing” motion of the blade provides a cleaner cutting edge that can be achieved with a standard “drag cut”. |
| |
| Pneumatic Oscillating Tool (POT) |
Air-driven oscillating tool for thicker, tougher materials, e.g. foam and packaging materials, thicker leather, upholstery, rubber. |
| |
| Driven rotary Tool (DRT) |
Motor-driven circular blade for cutting porous, fibrous materials, e.g. fabrics, textiles, composites. |
| |
| Pen Insert (Insert Sleeve 40) |
Insert designed for accommodating pens, especially in tool heads without attached pen module. The insert fits into all Tz/Tzs cutting modules. |
| |
| 45° V-cut tool |
The V-cut tool is designed specifically for 45-degree angle cuts in display applications using X-board, Re-board, Kappa, corrugated cardboard, etc. In combination with this new cutting technique required for shaping them, these exciting new materials and applications offer nearly unlimited potential for various types of displays. |
| |
| Tool insert |
The tool insert accommodates many different types of blades, creasing wheels, even a scoring tool (for cutting glass). |
| |
| Creasing/Scoring Tools |
Creasing/scoring tools are available in various thickness and configurations. Applications include various types of packaging, presentation folders, displays, cards, etc. |
| |
| Vinyl cutting insert |
The vinyl-cutting insert, designed specifically for kiss-cutting, is an alternative to the dedicated vinyl-cutting heads C2/C2-P and fits into all Tz or Tzs cutting modules. The tool is used most effectively as insert in a dual-module cutting heads set up for kiss-cutting/through-cutting operations. |
| |
| Mat-Cutting Tool (Passepartout) |
This tool is designed for cutting mat board (used in picture framing) at a 45-degree angle. Maximum cutting thickness is 5mm. |
